Dali's Process

Dali used the "paranoiac-critical method”

That involved creating a self-induced paranoid state

He would also fall asleep holding a spoon above a tin plate; once the spoon hit the plate he would start drawing

He would stand on his head until almost passing out to become “semi - lucid”
My Surrealist Bust

My project is a human whose skin was peeled in certain parts of the face to reveal the skull and muscle tissue.

My project was inspired by surrealist work. My inspiration is that although what you perceive day to day is the outside of someone’s body, I wanted to incorporate the other aspects of the body which equally exist but are unseen to the human eye.
